The Trade Union for the Public and Welfare Sectors JHL has terminated the collective agreements for the private teaching sector and vocational adult education centres
Terminating the collective agreements means that the current agreements will expire on 31 March 2024.
New collective agreement negotiations concerning pay raises and textual content will start with Finnish Education Employers (FEE) on 29 February 2024.
In addition to JHL, teaching sector agreements are negotiated by Trade Union Jyty and the Trade Union of Education in Finland (OAJ), all of which represent employees.
JHL’s website and the union’s other communications channels will have information on how the negotiations are proceeding.
