The collective agreement negotiations for the private teaching sector and vocational adult education centres have reached negotiation results on 21 May 2024. After a long series of negotiations and conciliation, an agreement on new terms and conditions of employment was reached between JHL, Jyty and Finnish Education Employers (FEE). These negotiation results cover administrative and support service staff.
– Knowledge that Petteri Orpo’s government is making extensive cutbacks in education has overshadowed the negotiation process, JHL’s Senior Bargaining Specialist Hanna Katajamäki comments about the long negotiations this spring.
More details on the content of the negotiation results will be provided when the parties have discussed them in their executive bodies.

Administrative and support service employees in the private teaching sector and adult education centres work for example as instructors, assistants, secretaries, administrative planners and specialists. They also include professionals working in catering and in cleaning and property services.
