Negotiation result achieved for the state
The parties have reached an agreement on a new collective agreement for the state. It applies to approximately 80,000 people.
The main contracting organisations representing state employees (Negotiation Organisation for Public Sector Professionals JUKO, Trade Union Pro and the Trade Union for the Public and Welfare Sectors JHL) have reached an agreement on a collective agreement together with the State Employers’ Office. The agreement is valid from 1 March 2023 to 28 February 2025.
We will inform about the negotiation result when the parties’ executive bodies have approved it. JHL’s Union Council and the executive bodies of other unions will get together on Thursday 23 February.
After that, the Finnish Government will either approve or reject the agreement. It will process the agreement during week 9. During the same week, after the processing, the Parliament of Finland’s Finance Committee will process the agreement and either approve it or leave it unapproved.
Approximately 80,000 people work for the Finnish state.
