JHL:s new strategy: Most influential, caring and strong trade union where members matter most
A few days ago, Trade Union JHL’s Union Council approved a strategy that will steer the union’s operations during the coming years. Our central goal is to improve our members’ livelihood, terms and conditions of employment, and position in the labour market. JHL wants to be the most influential, caring and strong trade union.
Improving our members’ position in working life and society together – this is Trade Union JHL’s most important goal, i.e., basic mission. The goal has been added in JHL’s fresh strategy.
In practice, Trade Union JHL wants to improve its members’ livelihood, terms and conditions of employment, and position in the labour market. This can only be done together with our members. In other words, the workplaces of JHL’s agreement sectors must be organised, the union needs knowledgeable actives for positions of responsibility, and JHL’s branches need to be well functioning.
JHL also wants to increase the trade union’s societal influence. JHL can then better influence its members’ position in the labour market.
Most influential, most caring, most strong. JHL is moving towards this vision in accordance with its new strategy. Our values reveal what’s important to us:
