Collective agreement negotiation result for the energy sector!

A collective agreement negotiation result has been achieved for the energy, ICT and network sector.

The negotiation result was achieved in the evening of Thursday 24 April. More information on the content will become available when the administrations of all negotiation parties have approved the result.

– The energy sector negotiations were very difficult also this time. The views were different on several matters of principle. Despite the difficult starting point, we achieved a result where our goals were met reasonably well, comments Bargaining Specialist Kari Lehtinen, who is in charge of the negotiations at JHL.

The collective agreement negotiations for the energy, ICT and network sector started in mid-February. The previous collective agreement expired at the end of March, leaving the sector in a period without agreement for about three weeks.

JHL and the Finnish Electrical Workers´ Union represent the employees, and Service Sector Employers Palta and Finnish Energy represent the employers in these negotiations.
