If you work during your studies, you have to pay a membership fee to the trade union and unemployment fund from your salary. The fee is 1% on all taxable earned income before taxes. You can pay the membership fee yourself or you can authorise your employer to collect the membership fee directly from your salary. We will automatically send you a payment reference for paying the membership fee.
